This workshop is the second one of a series of 3 yogic knee workshops.
Building on part 1, we will:
- review the therapeutic exercises from part 1, aimed at improving function and building strength for everyday, functional movement
- introduce manual self-adjustements, to create space in the knee joint
- look more specifically at yoga poses: how to practice yoga asana in a way that is safe for the knees and even use asana as a therapeutic practice.
While we are building on part 1, everyone is welcome, even those who have not attended part 1. Maria will make sure that everyone can follow.
The workshop will consist of a balanced mix of brief anatomy lectures and practice.
As a gift to the participants, the exercises will be filmed during the workshop and the videos will be made available to all the participants.
